Ridin Around!

We've taken to bike riding.. we love it and Porter does too.  Whenever we stop he does sign language for "more".  Which is adorable.  Last night we were strolling through our neighborhood, stopping and talking with neighbors on the way.  Before we knew it Porter was sound asleep.  He didn't flinch or make a move and was out for the night.

Two Words!

"Sticky Hands"  I'm in the battle of my life with these little things.. I'm armed with surface cleaner and rags at all times.  Chris says that I should have a holster with it in it.  I know that I need to surrender to defeat and that some day I'll only wish that I had sticky hand prints all over my house.  But for now.. my obsessive compulsiveness has me going straight into the forces to clean these little prints away!

Aside from hand prints.. there are dogie nose prints all over as well.  Porter thinks it's so much fun to drop his snacks and of course Carter doesn't bat an eye lash or give it a second thought to jump right on these hand outs.

Along with never using so much surface cleaner before in my life.. I'm going through laundry stain spray just as fast.  You'd think it's just for Porter.. but no.. I get sticky hands and snotty nose prints on my pants too.  There's nothing better than to feel little arms and hands to squeeze you tight.. but I'm not so fond of the stains.

I know I need to let all these things go.. but when you've been an obsessive compulsive cleaner you're entire life.. the desire of order doesn't go away over night!  At least I acknowledge my craziness and am trying to take it in stride and find the humor in it!
